Lublin, the most attractive for doing business by Forbes Magazine
Lublin City has won in the Forbes ranking - Cities Attractive for Business. Polish cities have been divided into four categories, depending on the number of inhabitants. Our city took the first place in the most prestigious category, grouping together cities with more than 300,000 residents. The ranking is based on hard data, that is, the percentage of growth dynamics of companies in 2009 compared to 2008. Lublin has a sensational result, amounting to 39.3 percent. Second place was taken by Poznań (12.4 percent). and the third place went to Łódź (4.2 percent). The other seven cities have a negative result: Warsaw (-5.6 per cent.) Krakow (-10.4 per cent.) Gdańsk (-13.6 per cent.), Wroclaw (-15 per cent.) Szczecin (-19, 2 percent.) Bydgoszcz (- 23.2 percent.) and Katowice (-23.7 percent). more »
