"Kitchen of Inspiration" Festival, the second edition of Lublin culinary Festival supporting traditional local cuisine, will start start on November 3. Beetroot will be the main topic and main ingredient of the prepared dishes. The Festival will continue until the end of the month. During this time, residents of Lublin and guests visiting our city will be able to sample Festival dishes in different 15 local restaurants. Each diner venue, that is a partner of the event, has developed a special Festival menu based on beetroot.
The Festival also includes accompanying events regarding the culinary heritage of our region. The agenda covers tastings and culinary workshops, as well as guided walks with Inspiration Guides leading in the footsteps of Lublin flavors. Each walk will end with a fine, culinary surprise.
Moreover, on November Saturdays (at Lubartowska 77), there will be thematic fairs, during which participants will be able to broaden their knowledge and increase awareness of the local cuisine as well as purchase local products. You must register for individual events directly with the Festival Partners. Some of the proposed activities are paid. A culinary competition for gastronomy students, co-organised with the University of Life Sciences in Lublin, is a fresh and new component in the programme.
As part of the event, young chefs will prepare most delicious dishes with beetroot as the main element, within a given time frame. The competition is scheduled for November 24, when we celebrate Beetroot Day.
