Cyrkulacje 2023 - The Eastern European Contemporary Circus Festival

The Eastern European contemporary circus festival CYRKULACJE is an extraordinary celebration of creators, artists and viewers. You will witness the awe-inspiring craftsmanship of artists in a variety of circus disciplines.

The festival reflects the richness of forms of expression associated with the contemporary circus – presented are full-length shows (including premieres) as well as acts, performed by artists based in/coming from Central and Eastern Europe, which creates an exciting melting pot of Eastern and Western influences, as well as tradition and modernity. It all started on September 30 and the last day is ahead of us (October 8, this Sunday).

A humorous solo in an acrobatic kitchen, where the audience is invited to a generous portion of entertainment and tasty gingerbread.

• Zgubowisko / Fundacja Sztukmistrze / Poland

A family show, created for viewers of all ages. Through juggling, aerial dancing and acrobatics, the quartet of artists takes viewers to a phantasmagoric world where anything is possible!

• Eastern European New Circus Etudes Competition: Performance with Jury Verdict and Award Ceremony

In the competition, artists from/based in Poland, Czech Republic, Slovakia, Finland, Ukraine, Hungary, Latvia, Lithuania, Estonia and Belarus are invited to present their disciplines in unique acts. Each act has a chance to win one of three main jury awards and special prizes, including the Best Trick Award, the Media Award – and of course – especially precious for every artist – the Audience Award.
