The city of Lublin continues its cooperation with District 121 Poland of the International Association of Lions Clubs in supporting Ukrainian refugees.
Part of the cooperation in 2023 included funds totaling over PLN 430,000 provided by LCIF. Food, cleaning supplies, and personal hygiene products were purchased for accommodation centres, educational facilities, etc. for Ukrainian refugees who were placed in the Municipal Family Support Centre (MOPR) in Lublin, the Crisis Intervention Centre, and other municipal institutions.
Due to the foundation’s support, the City was able to purchase the equipment for the Intervention Hostel at 3 Bronowicka Street in Lublin, where Ukrainian families reside. The equipment totalled PLN 143,978.04. In 2022, the organisation funded bedding sets, starter kits for arriving refugees, and meals.
