The festival that was once known as The Jagiellonian Fair, organised by Workshops of Culture in Lublin, is now known as Re:tradition Festival. The Re: tradition – Jagiellonian Fair 2022 will be held on August 19-21. The programme includes not only concerts, dances and folk art fairs, but also meetings, exhibitions and art installations, workshops (including singers, playing instruments and crafts), cinema shows, performances and a playground for traditional games and entertainment.

A festival is based on traditional culture. The goal is to present and promote this culture in its various forms, both original, authentic and contemporary. Our festival refers to the Lublin fairs, which date back to the 15th century. At that time, the trade routes running through Lublin brought many travellers, nomads and traders to our city of culture. For this reason the festival is called the Jagiellonian Fair. Re:tradition Festival it is also the time when traditional culture is presented by the goods of music, singing and dance both traditional and inspired by the heritage of past generations.

We invite you to the Re-tradycja Festival - an opportunity to meet numerous artists, craftsmen, artisans from Central and Eastern Europe.
