Father Professor Andrzej Szostek is an outstanding, world-famous philosopher and ethicist who has been associated with Lublin for many years, where he works professionally. Rector of the Catholic University of Lublin in 1998-2004. Currently associated with the Maria Curie Skłodowska University. Father Professor Szostek is a laureate of numerous prestigious awards and distinctions. By building the prestige and strengthening the international position of Lublin as an academic, social and multicultural centre he was granted Honorary Citizenship on March 25, 2021.
