The Lublin urban space has assumed a fresh form. A lush mural painting, inspired by the Lublin Cider (apple beer) and the Lublin Young Cider Festival, has been splashed on the wall at Lubartowska 69.

“The Lublin cider and the festival will keep on the whole year round” – the designers of the distinguished graphics are happy to announce. The unique wall mural painted by the Magnifiko group and Karol Banach, who is a Polish illustrator and graphics designer, was initiated by AMBRA S.A. and the Municipal Office of the City of Lublin. The young artists who drew it are skilled and gifted people who can boast of considerable successful experience.

Karol Banach has worked for numerous publishing companies such as KUKBUK, Duży Format, Przekrój, Twój Styl, Wysokie Obcasy. He has collaborated with companies among others Costa Coffee, IKEA Poland, Pepe Jeans London, Samsung. He’s made exhibitions in Poland, Greece, Russia, Portugal, England and Australia. He was awarded several prestigious prizes for the illustrations he had drawn for Erna Rosenstein’s “Fairytales”. Now he is getting indulged with a fresh apple flavor.

Furthermore, the Magnifiko group, which acts in urban space, is composed of graffiti artists and graphics designers who wish to alter the urban space. They create projects of wall painting, graphics design, photography, design, animation and film.

The joint idea of the group encompasses the city as natural environment, organism alive, that we all contribute to and answer for as the citizens. The centre for artistic activities focuses on human beings, their needs and expectations, that’s why the Magnifiko members become engaged in the cultural and social enterprises.

The mural of Lubartowska 69 is another joint project implemented by the Lublin Cider and the Lublin Municipal Office. The creative cooperation gave rise to enterprises such as the Lublin City Game, which combines a sense of competition with sightseeing in the most interesting sites and “Inspirational Places”, the cooking contest for the unique regional dish. All these activities are held within the framework of business and city culture synergy dedicated to a regional product development as well as the region itself.

Other joint initiatives are being planned.
