The programme of the concert will cover compositions by three famous Polish composers: Frederic Chopin – Andante spianato et grande polonaise brillante Es-dur Opus 22., Wojciech Kilar - Piano Concerto No.2 and Mieczysław Karłowicz - Eternal Songs Opus 10 performed by the Symphonic Orchestra of the Wieniawski Philharmonic in Lublin conducted by Piotr Wijatkowski and accompanied by Beata Bilińska on the piano. Prior to the concert, Teresa Księska-Falger, the Chairman of the Wieniawski Music Association in Lublin will give a short lecture on the compositions.
The admission is free of charge. Tickets can be collected from tickets office of the Wieniawski Philharmonic in Lublin from November 17 (Tuesday - Friday, noon-5.00PM, Friday - before the concert, 1.00PM-7.00PM).
The concert is organized by the City of Lublin, the Wieniawski Philharmonic in Lublin and the Wieniawski Music Association in Lublin.
