This project has a range scope. Almost a year ago we launched a dialogue box and today by launching the project „NaprawmyTo” we deepen the participating model of city's management. This project creates a shared responsibility for the city. We want it to be an effective tool enabling communication between the citizens and the Mayor as well as the organs of his administration. We wish to wake the social activity by offering another tool – declared the Mayor of Lublin, Krzysztof Żuk.
The most important feature of the system is its simplicity. The person reporting the case does not have to know the telephone numbers or the scope of the competences of given organs. It suffice to report the case anonymously and proper organs will handle it and inform about the undertaken actions on the site. The current state of the process of solving the problem will be available on-line.
The alerts can be reported in three ways: on-line under the link www.lublin.naprawmyto.pl, by free applications for smart phones or in person in one of the Residents Affairs Offices (Biura Obsługi Mieszkańców).
There exist no other such a developed tool. Lublin, as the first Polish city decided to pass from the testing stage to real actions. The launch of such a platform constitutes a big proof of courage of the city's authorities. I would like to welcome Lublin among the creative cities – complimented Jakub Wygnański, head of the Atelier for Research and Social Innovations „STOCZNIA” (Pracownia Badań i Innowacji Społecznych "STOCZNIA").
Lublin is the first Polish city in which the authorities decided to sign an agreement with the Warsaw Atelier for Research and Social Innovations „STOCZNIA” responsible for the elaboration and the implementation of the system in Poland. System NaprawmyTo is currently being tested in 31 municipalities.
