The Orthodox Church of the Women Carrying Spices to the Tomb of the Lord and St. Prophet Elijah
Address: ul. Lipowa 12
Place: Lublin
Post code: 20-024

The Orthodox Church of the Holy Women Carrying Spices in Lublin was founded by Andriej Diejukun, the president of the Lublin Tax Chamber. The church was erected in the years 1902-1903, its dedication took place on August 28, 1903. From its beginning it has been a cemetery church serving funeral ceremonies and services for the deceased. The church represents the Byzantine-Russian style in the Moscow-Yaroslav (Neorussian) variant. It is a five-dome, two-level and tripartite church with a bell tower located above the vestibule. The masses are celebrated in its upper part where there is an altar and a single-row iconostasis. In the crypt on the lower level, the temple's founder and his wife are buried.

The building is located within the Orthodox part of the 19th-century Orthodox cemetery, a part of a larger cemetery complex at Lipowa Street in Lublin.
