In the 19th century, at Krakowskie Przedmieście Street, near the Evangelical church there were numerous manors with gardens in the back. One of the oldest was the Palace of the Morski Family built in the fourth quarter of the 18th century. Reconstruction of the building in 1846 at the initiative of earl Ignacy Morski, gave it a residential character. In 1846, the palace was bought by Lublin’s industrialist of Scottish origin, Alexander Mac Leod, who decided to build additional two wings. In 1898, the building was purchased by the Commercial Bank of Łodź, which was operating in there until World War II. During the occupation, the County Administrator’s Office was located in the palace.
Since 2009, the palace has been used by the National School of Judiciary and Prosecutor's Office.
