We are pleased to announce a call for entries for the 6th International Photo Competition “Theatre Through the Lens.”
The “Theatre Through the Lens” (”Teatr w Obiektywie”) photo competition has been held as part of the International Festival of Disabled People's Theatre Companies SANS for 25 years. The leitmotif of the 2015 SANS Festival is ”In the Old Cinema”. Awards will be presented in four categories: Actors, Behind the Scenes, Portrait and Artistic Perspective. The main aim of the competition is to promote disabled people's theatre to a wider public.
Prior to the Festival, all competition entrants will take part in a free, two-day workshop on theater photography (11-12 April 2015). The winning photographs selected by a professional jury will be displayed at the 6th Intentional Exhibition “Theater Through the Lens” and shown throughout the entire year in Lublin and other cities.
The competition will take place during the 25th SANS Festival held on 17-19 April 2015 at the Chatka Żaka Academic Cultural Centre in Lublin.
Participation in the workshops and competition is free of charge.
Deadline for applications is 6 April 2015.
