The workshops "Great grandfather’s glasses" ("Okulary (pra)dziadka") will be held every Monday, from 13 July to 24 August. The classes are for children aged 7-12 who would like to discover old traditions from the Lublin region, for example to find out which bird heralded the arrival of spring and which one signaled harvest time. They will also learn how to predict weather by observing nature. In addition, they will find out about children’s duties and games several hundreds years ago. They will learn about old instruments and discover why our ancestors wore shoes only on holidays. The children will also learn various old games and counting-out rhymes they could later use when playing with their peers.

Participation in the workshops is free of charge.
