On 11 and 12 June 2019, a seminar of the Council of Europe’s Intercultural Cities Programme (ICC) will be held in Lublin devoted to the indicators of the actions effectiveness. It will strenghten the cohesion of local communities.

Representatives of European cities will come to Lublin and spend two intense days exchanging information with experts who support the process of identifying indicators. It aims at tracking the effects of intercultural activities undertaken by cities.

Lublin has been the only Polish city - a member of The Council of Europe’s Intercultural Cities Programme (ICC) since 2008. Polish cooperation with the Programme has resulted in joint enterprises (including projects "Lublin for All" and "Communication for Integration") as well as ongoing participation in the area of building a shared system for managing cultural diversity in urban policies.

On 12 and 13 June, representatives of other Polish local governments will come to Lublin during the conference of the Union of Polish Metropolises. The reason of these two visits is the opportunity to present the Intercultural Cities Programme to other Polish cities. The topic of including foreigners and building integration policies becomes more and more crucial every year.
