Shostakovich Quartet from Moscow has been performing since 1967, and won, among others, 19 International ARD Competition in Munich, and Leo Weiner International Competition in Budapest. The musicians performed in over 40 countries and took part in numerous festivals.Their repertoire contains works of European composers.
The concert will commemorate late Archbishop Józef Życiński (born on September 1, 1948) and the victims of the 9/11.
