“It’s a real surprise! One of the top musicians in Poland has made a giant leap in his career and became a leader to whom the band is more important than he himself. In other words, he has finally managed to surround his strong personality with musicians who complement him in a perfect way. The musicians we are talking about are in their twenties, so they are one generation younger than Baron. Their solos and virtuosity filled about eighty per cent of the concert, while the leader was humbly hiding in the background. Baron has constructed his show as a long, filled with only three very elaborate compositions prayer or hymn based on “Kaddish”, the album he released last year.
