Galeria Biała presents an exhibition of Zuza Ziółkowska’s works "Wszędzie jest wszędzie" (Everywhere is everywhere), a part of Młode Forum Sztuki.
Zuza Ziółkowska paints specific, a bit surreal, colourful pictures. She also creates graphic, spatial site specific art forms. At the current exhibition in Młode Forum Sztuki she is presenting her latest paintings as well as several painting projects and installations. Five adjoining rooms make five separate stories which construct one storyline.
Each of the small rooms is arranged in a slightly different way. The first and the biggest space is decorated with paintings which are supposed to introduce the audience to a multicolored atmosphere of organic symbolism of the images. They present human figures, body parts or blood circulation system. The vibrant images painted with visible brush strokes and vivid colours refer to biology, physiology as they remind of X-ray pictures.
The second space is a recording of architectural memory represented by a blue border and a ceiling covered with damp patches and mould. Gambling with fate is represented by wallpaper with a slot machine pattern in the corridor. In other rooms the artist uses ash and wallpapers with images of maps.
The exhibition in Lublin is her first solo exhibition.
