‘Po 111 Schodach’ Gallery invites to an exhibition of paintings by Janusz Kirenko entitled Chwila (Moment).
The artist is a professor at MCSU University in Lublin; since 2005 he has been the head of a Department of Pedeutology and Health Education. He has been awarded for his scientific, didactic and social work on numerous occasions. In 2008 he received a prestigious medal “Creators of Polish Physiatry”. Kirenko is also a poet and a painter. He has published four volumes of verse and presented his works at several cumulative and solo exhibitions. He began his adventure with visual arts with painting pictures in style of an icon; then he proceeded to easel painting of landscapes, finally, to create impressionistic, fairy-tale compositions, where, like in his poetry, he attempts to touch metaphysical essence of tings.
