Agnieszka Wójtowicz was born in Zamość. A graduate of MCSU's Department of Fine Arts, she got a degree in painting (under Professor Jacek Wojciechowski) and photography (under Professor Irena Trzcińska). Her creative pursuits include painting, drawing and photography. Her works have been shown at both individual and group exhibitions. Since 1990 they have also been presented in various newspapers and magazines, such as “Dzień,” ”Akcent,” ”Kurier Lubelski” and ”Express Fakty.” Wójtowicz collaborated with the Scena Plastyczna KUL Gallery and Gardzienice Gallery; since 1998 she is an associate with the art room of the Hans Christian Andersen Theatre in Lublin.
Agnieszka Wójtowicz has received numerous awards for her work, including the award from the Rector of Maria Curie Skłodowska University for her painting exhibited at Autograf 2005, an honourable mention for her paintings displayed at the exhibition of competition entries for Autograf 2003. In 2008, 2009 and 2010 she was a jury member in the Children’s Theatres Festival in Lublin. A member of the Association of Polish Artists and Designers, Wójtowicz works as an interior designer.
