Kinoteatr Projekt invites all to the next installment of its BENSHI Film Discussion Club, which continues with the screening of the second movie in the four-film “Masculinity” series. This time around we are showing “The World’s Fastest Indian”.
Beautiful women and fast cars are allegedly the attributes of a real man. “The World’s Fastest Indian” is a story of a man who decided to embark on a journey to make his greatest automobile-related dream come true. The film is inspired by the real-life car enthusiast Burt Munro, whose staunch perseverance with his goal enabled him to beat the world velocity record. A positive lesson in masculinity and tenacity regardless of one’s age, regardless of the circumstances one finds oneself under. Asked about his participation in the movie, Anthony Hopkins answered: „This is the best role I have ever played”.
