Microcosmos of Skomra M.D.: A Photography Exhibition

Stanisław Skomra, a medical doctor from Lublin, has been for years taking photographs of insects he finds on the one and same garden plot at Lake Krzczeń. It is his second exhibition devoted to insect species from our region that are endangered with extinction; subsequent exhibitions are to follow.

Skomra does not merely describe the butterflies and spiders shown in the exhibition; rather, he talks about them in a remarkably professional and engaging manner, which adds to the personal character of the exhibition.
