"Hunting Flies" ("Polowanie na muchy") is Polish virtuoso filmmaker's cult movie based on a short story by Poland's finest Janusz Głowacki. Małgorzata Braunek as a stunning femme fatale provides the focus of one of Wajda's light-hearted and most entertaining films. Apart from the engaging narrative following the life of a socially shy and somewhat naive translator (Zygmunt Malanowicz), the film showcases the Polish music and stage stars of the late 1960s, for instance, poet and musician Marek Grechuta, actor and one-time heart-throb Daniel Olbrychski and singer Krzysztof Krawczyk.
