- Hand-Decorated Pencils (5 October 2018)
Instructor: Monika Spuz-Szpos
Participants will find out what marbling paints are used for and learn how to decorate wooden pencils with them. Participants can take their works or art home at the end of the class.
- Cookies You Can Bake Anywhere... (12 October 2018)
Instructor: Monika Spuz-Szpos
During the class you will learn simple recipes for salty and sweet cookies that can be an alternative to lunch. Participants will eat baked sweets on the spot and take the recipes home.
- Autumn Stroll in the Gorge (19 October 2018)
Instructor: Monika Spuz-Szpos
Participants will go for an autumn walk in the gorge near the Węglin District Community Cultural Centre. By the way, they will get to know their district.
- Dancing Through the World (26 October 2018)
Instructor: Anita Łucjan-Kowalska
During the class participants will have an opportunity to learn dances from different parts of the world (Europe, Africa, America). They will learn how to perform them and will receive basic information about their origin and significance for particular cultures. Participants will be able to feel the pleasure of dancing together, relax and actively spend time listening to music. Intensity of the classes (number and difficulty of dances) will be adjusted to the participants’ capabilities. Depending on their skills, the participants will learn from 8 to 15 dances.
Active Plus Club (Klub Aktywni Plus) was established for people 50+ who would like to creatively and actively spend their Friday mornings at the Czuby Południowe District Community Cultural Centre. The programme includes meetings with guests, workshops, theme discussions, sharing experiences and conclusions, and, above all, creative passing of time with others in a relaxed atmosphere over coffee and tea.
