POD BUDĄ: The band was founded in 1977 by members of a Cracow student cabaret of the same name. To this day, the band has played several thousand concerts in Poland and abroad (USA, Canada, Australia, USSR) and recorded many albums (gold and platinum) that are popular with at least two generations of Poles. The lyrics and music by Andrzej Sikorowski together with the compositions by Jan Hnatowicz create unique and distinguishing sound of this band.
THE ANDRZEJ AND MAJA SIKOROWSKI BAND: The programme of the concert includes songs by Andrzej Sikorowski, a vocalist and long-time leader of the band Pod Budą and the author of most of the band’s repertoire, this time in a duet with his daughter, Maja Sikorowska, and with the support of one of the best Polish guitarists Jacek Królik, alongside Gertruda Szymańska and Tomasz Kupiec. The artist will take the audience on a journey into the world of his greatest hits written for Pod Budą, his solo projects and pieces from three albums recorded with Maja, "Krakow – Thessaloniki," "Sprawa rodzinna," "Okno na Planty."
