Who does not dream about star travels? A flight to the Moon is a dream that can now come true. Under the watchful eye of Professor Astrokot, we will get to know the structure of the solar system. Then, wandering across the sky with Johannes Hevelius, we will board a spaceship and travel to the star skies, carrying Harve Tullet's books, "The Game in the Dark" and "The Game of Light", which will be the starting points for our adventure. Equipped with professional space helmets and guided by the captain of the ship, we will launch into space. We will say goodbye to the Earth, will admire the beauty of the stars, land on the moon and listen to the stories Diaries about our unusual adventure resembling those from Stanisław Lem's Star. We will take a part of this star world home to keep it in our memory for a long time.

The workshops are run in collaboration with the Muchomor publishing house.

Instructor: Monika Trypuz – designer and graphic design student (Academy of Fine Arts in Warsaw). She creates hand-made illustrated picture books for children.

Dedek czyta! is a series of meetings for children aged between 5 and 6 years devoted to books but not in a strictly traditional way. The content of a book will serve as a starting point for getting to know the world, learning about it, discovering and exploring reality. Each meeting will be a surprise for children. Books will be the only constant elements of the workshops. However, the way they will be used in our work will be unpredictable. What we can certainly declare is that through play children will gain extensive knowledge from various fields, from physics, mathematics, chemistry and biology to art in a wide range, from static to dynamic (animated) images.
