The New York-based Hevreh Ensemble is going to fill Galeria Labirynt with unique music which combines a great richness of sounds. Classical, jazz and world music elements intervene resulting in a very special musical effect. Their concerts are wildly enjoyed by audiences in the USA and in Europe.
The Hevreh Ensemble was established in 2004. It is formed by:
- Jeff Adler – the composer, playing the bass clarinet, Indian flute, percussion;
- Judith Dansker – oboe, oboe d’amore, English horn, Indian flute;
- Laurien Friedman – clarinet, Indian flute, shofar, percussion;
- Adam Morrison – keyboard.
The show at Galeria Labirynt will be accompanied with a presentation of photos from Lola Kantor’s book, Beyond the Forest – Jewish Presence in Eastern Europe 2004-2012.
